OBITUARY: LORAINE W. RANDS Loraine Wanita Rands, 84, of Grandview St., Belington, died Sunday, December 27, at her home, following an unexpected illness. She was born November 17, 1925, at Belington, a daughter of the late Eugene B. and Olga (Barnett) Bennett. Surviving are three sisters, Lura Spotloe, Philippi, Eloise Ison, Fairmont, Betty Glendenning, Newton Falls, Oh.; her former husband, the Rev. Theodore Rands, Belington; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Myrtle DeBellis, Edith Pauline Bennett, Beatrice Edwards and Catherine Perry and by four brothers, Leonard Bennett, Ernest Ray Bennett, Edgar Irvin Bennett and an infant brother. Mrs. Rands was a graduate of the Elim Bible Institute in Lima, New York. She had worked as a nursing assistant in several nursing homes. She had also served as pianist in a number of churches, including those pastored by her husband. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 30, from the Schoonover -stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington. The Rev. Robert Baer Jr. will officiate and interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour on Wednesday.
