Lucille Ervine Sheets, 88, of Glenville, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2002, at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston.
Mrs. Sheets was born July 3, 1913, at Green Bank, a daughter of the late Donald C. and Vesta Calhoun Ervin.
She married Everett Burr Sheets, who preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1991.
Surviving are one daughter, Anna Belle Gillespie and husband, Gary, of Glenville; one son, Donald B. Sheets and wife, Carolyn Sue, of Glenville; two sisters, Marie Crawford of Baltimore, Md., and Alice Miller of Elkins; three brothers, Guy Ervine, Dewey Ervine and Alfred Ervine, all of Green Bank; two grandchildren, Daniel Gillespie and wife, Angie, of Timberlake, N.C., and Shelly Sheets of Glenville; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Raines; and two brothers, Jack and Clarence Ervine.
Mrs. Sheets was a resident of Green Bank for 56 years, of Valley Bend for 17 years and has been a resident of Glenville for 15 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Valley bend and was a homemaker.
Friends will be received at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bob Nicholas officiating. Interment will follow in Arbovale Cemetery.
