Lucille Weese, 86, a resident of 20 Moore St., Elkins, for many years, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2003, in Davis Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born April 9, 1917, at Fairmont, the daughter of the late Obe and Lula Mae Kisner Stone.

In 1937, she was married to Wayne Weese, who preceded her in death in 1998.

urviving are two sons, Keith L. Weese and wife, Jeannie, and Norris L. Weese and wife, Brenda, all of Elkins; one daughter, Barbara J. Weese of Elkins; and two sisters, Maxine Summers of Independence and Evelyn Wolfe of Williamston, S.C.

Six grandchildren, Rhonda Weese, Sonya Barclay, Tonya Elza, Misty Johnston, Jeffrey Weese and Timothy Weese; and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

Also preceding her in death was a sister, Audrey Stone.

Mrs. Weese was a graduate of Kingwood High School and was last employed at the snackbar at the former Memorial General Hospital prior to her retirement.

She was a member of the Randolph County Senior Center and the First Baptist Church.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Baer officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Lucille Weese.
