Lucy Rebecca Pase 1949-2002 Obituary
Lucy Rebecca Pase, 53, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002, at her residence. Death was sudden and unexpected.
She was born May 14, 1949, in Bayard, a daughter of the late Edwin Allen and Pauline Euhalia Miller Gaither.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Leonard Pase; three sons, Bryan Allen Pase, Carl W. Pase and Christopher J. Pase, all at home; three brothers, “Dude,” Harry and James Gaither, all of Bayard; three sisters, Mrs. James (Nina) Sisson of Bayard, Mrs. Wayne (Frances) Bosely of Gormania, and Mrs. Bradley (Ruth Ann) Cooper of Fairview, Md.; two aunts, Arvella Sisler of Petersburg, and Twila Clark of Kempton, Md.; and two uncles, Art Miller of North Carolina, and Lee Gaither of Florida.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Mrs. Pase was a cook at Melanie’s Restaurant in Aurora. She was a very loving mother and devoted wife.
She was a faithful member of the Thomas United Methodist Church and Sunday School.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis, today from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Thomas United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Winter officiating.
Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of choice in memory of Lucy R. Pase.
