Mabel Ruth Lynch, 75, of Parsons, died Sept. 12 at home. She had been in declining health for three months and death was attributed to cancer.

She was born June 4, 1926 at Thomas, a daughter of the late Jessie Helmick and Beulah Wyatt helmick Tyson. She was twice married, first to Ronald E. Adams during August 1944, who preceded her in death in 1965; second to William Lynch who preceded her in death in 1980.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald E. Jr. (and Carol Adams, Schenwksville, PA; Daniel (and Helen) Adams, Pottstown, PA; three daughters, Judy A. (and Donald “Oop”) Jolly, Mary E. (and James) Biddle, Darlene (and Ronald) Miller, all of Parsons; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She ws preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Adams; an infant grandson and an infant granddaughter. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She attended the schools of Thomas, was a former employee of the Collegeville Flag Company of Pennsylvania. She was a former school bus driver and an employee of the Bridge Hotel at Collegeville, PA. She was affiliated with the Hendricks United Methodist Church at Hendricks.

Friends were received at the Barb-Greenlief Funeral Home Sept. 15. Mrs. Lynch was moved to the Limericks Garden of Memories Chapel at Limerick, PA, for the service Sept. 17. PastorDaniel Mark Peters officiated and interment followed at the Garden of Memories. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to Hospice Care Corporation, PO Box 193, Parsons, WV 26287.
