Macel Belle Lough 1928-2002 Obituary

QMacel Belle Lough, 74, a resident of Frenchton Road, Rock Cave, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born July 26, 1928 at Chestnut Grove.

Her husband, Alpha Lough, survives at Rock Cave.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Sue) Adamy, Bolair; one son, John Lough, Rock Cave; one sister, Dacil Anderson, Gassaway; one granddaughter, Dena Adamy, Buckhannon; one grandson, Justin Adamy, Bolair; and one great-grandchild, Dylan Adamy, Buckhannon.

She was preceded in death by her father, the Rev. Arnold Bickel; her mother, Elsie Bickel; and one brother, Denzil Bickel.

Mrs. Lough was a homemaker and attended the Pt. Pleasant Chapel in Abbott

She was a re-born Christian. She would have been married 56 years on Oct. 25. She was a wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed going to gospel sings and loved sewing, crocheting, canning, flower gardening and working puzzle books.

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Ressie Robinson and the Reb. Wilma Jackson will officiate and interment will follow in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin.
