Madeline G. Tenney, 92, of Tallmansville, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at her home.

She was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Wendell, a daughter of the late Bert and Elsie Goodwin Koon.

On Feb. 20, 1945, she married Bert Tenney, who preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Alfred Tenney; three brothers, Holly, Dale and Dave Goodwin; and four sisters, Lucille Trembly, Wanda June Tenney, Mildred Bodkins and Mary White.

She is survived by one son, Michael Tenney and wife, Diann, of Tallmansville; two daughters, Mary Austin of Buckhannon and Tammy Tenney and husband, Bruce, of Bumpass, Virginia; three grandsons, Michael Tenney II of Tallmansville, Burton Tenney and girlfriend, Sarah Weber, of Tallmansville and Aaron Tenney and wife, Anne, of Providence Forge, Virginia; two granddaughters, Rebecca Kralj and husband, Matthew, of Mineola, New York, and Melanie Tenney of Richmond, Virginia; and six great-grandsons, Matthew Tenney and Noah Smallridge, both of Tallmansville, Kevin and Steven Kralj, both of Mineola, and Will and Walker Tenney, both of Providence Forge.

Mrs. Tenney was a homemaker and a member of the Ten Mile United Methodist Church.

She was also a member of the Ten Mile homemakers, TOPS and the Farm Bureau.

Friends will be received Monday, Dec. 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Brad Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery in Ten Mile.

Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
