Mamie Victoria Fannin, 83, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2003, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Reger Funeral Chapel by Kiah Williamson and the Rev. Don Napier. Burial will be in Docks Creek Cemetery in Kenova.

She was born Feb. 14, 1920, a daughter of the late Enos Adkins Jr. and Virginia Dillon Adkins.

She was the former co-owner of Fannin Plumbing and Heating. She attended the Westmoreland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow “Woody” Fannin; two sons, Johnny Dale Fannin Sr. and James Woodrow Fannin Jr.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Sam McComas of Buckhannon; four grandchildren, Hal S. McComas IV, of Wilmington, Del., John Fannin of Dacula, Ga., Todd Fannin of Timberville, Va., and Elizabeth McComas of Huntington; five great-grandchildren, Josh, Tyler and Reilly Fannin and Kaitlyn and Andrew McComas; sisters, Ruby Jack of Pritchard, Rebecca Henson of Huntington; and brothers, Enos Adkins Jr. of Chesterland, Ohio, Robert Adkins of Huntington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Reger Funeral Home.
