Margie Johnson Simpson Clower 1921-2002 Obituary

Margie Johnson Simpson Clower, 80, of Franklin, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at the Pendleton Nursing Home in Franklin.

Mrs. Clower was born July 16, 1921, in Riverton and was a daughter of the late William Claude Johnson and Alpha Hartman Johnson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church and attended Franklin Assembly of God.

Her first Husband, Edward Clyde Simpson, Jr., preceded her in death in 1965.

She is survived by her husband, William Blair Clower, three daughters, Debbie Clower of Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Donna Warner and Dinah Mitchell, both of Franklin; two sons, Eddie Simpson and Lanny Marshall, both of Franklin; a sister, Myrtle Johnson of Franklin; two brothers, Roscoe Johnson of Franklin and Leo Johnson, Huttonsville; five grandchildren, Carlton B. Warner, Laura S. Evick, Donetta S. Harman, Jordon R. Marshall and Blair D. Mitchell; and one great-granddaughter, Madison Faith Evick.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Roy, Rob, Maurice, Brozie and Arvel Johnson.

The Revs. Calvin Bailey and Steven Landis will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. today at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pendleton County Rescue Squad or the Pendleton Nursing Home.
