MARYLYN J. BUTCHER WEBBER Marilyn June Butcher Webber, 74, of Beech Avenue, Philippi, died Friday, November 20, in Mansfield Place, Philippi, following an extended illness. She was born March 28, 1935, at Belington, a daughter of the late Americus Jasper “A.J.” Wolfe and the late Zelle (Moore) Delauder Wolfe. Survivors include one daughter, Karen “Sue” Bors and husband, Michael J., Akron, Oh.; one son, William J. Butcher, Akron; two grandchildren, Thomas Jurmanovich and wife, Audra and Rhea Butcher; one great granddaughter, Lila Jurmanovich; two sisters-in-law, Anna M. Wolfe and Dorothy Wolfe, both of Philippi. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Elsie V. Trimble, Mayselle Daniels, Justine Wehunt and Edna Perkins and by seven brothers, A. J. Wolfe Jr., George Wolfe, Bernard G. Wolfe, Clarence Wolfe, Lester Wolfe, Clyde B. Wolfe and Carl Delauder. Mrs. Webber was a certified nursing assistant and had worked in the a nursing home and in private care. She was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 23, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Bryan Headley and Mrs. Jessie Lou Shaw will officiate and interment will follow in the Little Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Monday. Stemple & Forman Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
