Mary Louise Carr Lee Obituary 1936-2020

Mary Louise Carr Lee of Hambleton, passed into the arms of her Savior Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at Garrett Regional Medical Center with her doting daughters by her side.

March 11, 1936 – December 23, 2020

She was the daughter of the late Edith Smith Carr and Frederick McClellan Carr of Douglas.

Mary was a beautiful soul who was an avid birdwatcher and loved music, tole painting and her flowers. She and her late husband participated in the craft show circuit for many years showcasing her artwork and his woodworking. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Randy) Hartman and Vicki (Lefty) Stonebraker of Kingwood, Ellen Lee of Parsons and Beth (Allen) Streets of St. George; brother, Norman Carr of Delmar, Delaware, and Sharon Stemple of Terra Alta; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and a special friend, Richard (Dick) Crawford of Douglas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ennis Kent Lee; daughter, Lisa Livengood; brother, Fred Carr, Jr., sister-in-law, Elaine Carr; and brother-in-law, Darwin Stemple.

A private graveside service for immediate family will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Anthony Favro officiating. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
