Mary Lynn Phillips 1980-2002

Mary Lynn Phillips, 22, a resident of the Mackeyville Road, Hambleton, departed this life Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Davis Memorial Hospital, after a short illness.

She was born Jan. 17, 1980, at Parsons, the fifth daughter of Lonnie Leon and Mary Lee Dumire Phillips, who survives at Hambleton.

She was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Sherry Lee Phillips on Nov. 15, 2002.

Surviving are three sisters, Lora Phillips Evans and husband, Bud, Vera Phillips Moran and Paulita Phillips Cousin and husband, Jake; Larry A. Phillips, spouse of the late Sherry; her beloved cat “Spook;” several nieces and nephews, Shauna Evans, Krista Evans, Scottie Williams, Amie Phillips, Heather Williams, Melissa Evans, Nicoda Evans, Caila Evans, Lonnie Phillips, Derrick Williams, Amanda Phillips, Brandon Moran and Jakob Cousin; and her maternal grandmother, Annabelle Dumire Pennington of Keyser.

She is a 2001 modified graduate of Tucker County High School. She attended the Rosendorf Pentecostal Church of God. She was a cherished gift from God that blessed our lives for too short of time.

The family will receive friends at Barb & Greenlief Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Final rites will be conducted from the funeral home parlor Tuesday at 1 p.m. Pastor Gloria Roy and Pastor Floyd Carr will officiate and interment will follow at Goff Cemetery at Hambleton. The Barb & Greenlief Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mary Lynn Phillips.
