Mildred Josephine Tillie Poling 1952-2002

Mildred Josephine “Tillie” Dadisman Poling, 67, of Route 4, Mt. Liberty Road, Philippi, died at 9:56 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in Broaddus Hospital.

Mrs. Poling was born April 27, 1935, in Barbour County, a daughter of the late Okey Von and Sylvia Simpson Dadisman.

On Dec. 10, 1952, she married Willard Ray Poling, who survives.

Also surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and David Haller, Tacy community, Philippi, Loretta Skidmore, Elkins, and Karen Sue and Donald Delauder, Teter Lake Community, Philippi; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark Ray and Barbara Poling, Belington; a sister, Ruby Jean Hammers, Jonesboro, Ga.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.

Mrs. Poling was a homemaker and care giver for several elderly families. She was a member of Mt. Liberty Senior Center and attended Philippi Church of God.

Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St., Philippi today after 7 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Martin and the Rev. W.F. Boylen officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Roads Cemetery in Tacy.
