OBITUARY: NANCY ELAINE PHILLIPS Nancy Elaine Phillips, 53, of Crim Avenue, Belington, died Saturday morning, August 14, in the Davis Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health but her death was unexpected. She was born August 25, 1956, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Howard C. And Juanita Rae (Rider) McCauley. On November 25, 1972, she was married to Charles Franklin Phillips, who preceded her in death on January 1, 1988. Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Phillips and fiancé, Sam Lawrence, Belington; three sons, Terry Phillips and wife, Chastity Bender, Philippi, Jeremy Phillips and companion Tosha Mullenex, Junior, Joshua Phillips and fiancé, Darcy Darrow; one sister, Nelda Marie Adams and husband, Joseph, Elkins; her fiancé, Robert Hamrick, Belington; eleven grandchildren, T. J. Wayne Phillips, Ryan Alexander George, Nicholas Allen Phillips, Samantha Nicole George, Mia Elaine Phillips, Cheyanne Rose George, Lelan Duane Phillips, Tylar Harly Phillips, Ada Nichole Phillips, Danny Lee Eakle Jr., Dalton Wilbert Reel; one great granddaughter, ShLace Lynn McKay Eakle; two nephews, Dale McCauley and Matthew Silman. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Lou McCauley. Mrs. Phillips, was a homemaker. She was an avid fisherman, camper, motorcyclist and outdoorsman. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, August 18, from the Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington. The Rev. Philip Lynn Rider will officiate and interment will follow in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery at Junior. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, the funeral hour on Wednesday. Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
