Neale M. Arbogast 1935-2002

Neale M. Arbogast, 67, a resident of the Tygart Valley Apartments, Elkins, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2002, in the Davis Memorial Hospital emergency room. He had been in his usual health and death was sudden and unexpected.

Born April 16, 1935, in Huttonsville, he was the son of the late Arnold and Pearl Cutright Arbogast.

He had never married.

Neale is survived by three sisters, Ruth Fridley, Bailey, N.C., Mrs. John (Ann) Agostinelli, Cannonsburg, Pa., and Mrs. Charles (Sandra) Sites, Mateo, Fla.; and two brothers, William “Bill” Arbogast and wife, Janet, Mill Creek, and Terry Arbogast and wife, Joan, Landsdale, Pa. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents were a sister, Rosalyn Skidmore, and a brother, Paul Arbogast.

He was a self-employed electrician and a Protestant by faith.

He was a member of the H.W. Daniels Post No. 29 American Legion and a veteran, and served during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army.

Friends will be received at the F.E. Runner Funeral Home Chapel today after 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted from the Runner Chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Verl Simmons of Mill Creek will officiate and interment will follow in the Jerusalem Cemetery on the Adolph Road. The presentation of the American flag will be made at the grave site by the Tygart Valley Post No. 3647 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
