Norma Louise Wratchford, 74, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Wednesday evening, December 19, 2012, surrounded by family at her son’s home in Mill Creek. Norma was born Friday, September 9, 1938 in Beverly, a daughter of the late Stanley Wilson Bennett and Ruth Devere Helmick Bennett. Left to cherish her memory are four sons, Randall Wratchford of Valley Bend, Stanley Wratchford and wife Lisa of Connecticut, Jake Wratchford and wife Ginny of Mill Creek, and Quinton Wratchford and wife Kris of Ohio, her only brother, Truman Bennett and wife Mildred of East Dailey, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, and Paul R. Bender, her companion of thirty years. Norma attended the schools on Randolph County. She worked as a dietician at Memorial General Hospital and ERCC in Elkins for thirty-three years. She enjoyed knitting and loved to shop at thrift stores. Norma thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved to spoil her grand babies. Norma’s request for cremation will be honored and a memorial service will take place at a later date. The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements for Norma Louise Wratchford.
