Otis Buddy Paul Spittler 1954-2010 Obituary

Otis “Buddy” Paul Spittler, 55, of Mountain View, MO entered into eternal rest Monday January 25, 2010 in St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, MO. He was born Tuesday March 16, 1954 in Webster Springs, WV, a son of the late Oral Spittler and Beatrice Tiffner Spittler who survives in Valley Bend, WV. Buddy graduated from Perry Hall High School in Maryland. On March 24, 1979 in Churchville, Maryland he married the former Cindy Burns who survives in Mountain View, MO. To this union three children were born: Joey, Shauna and Tyler. While in Maryland Buddy worked in heavy equipment sales until the family moved to Mountian View in January 1994. He worked as a service manager for Chevrolet dealerships in the area. Buddy loved spending time with Joey and Tyler watching them play sports and picking on his “Angel Princess”, Shauna. He enjoyed tinkering with cars and meeting his buddies for breakfast. He was preceded in death by his father: Oral Spittler and one infant brother. Buddy’s survivors include his loving wife: Cindy Burns Spittler of Mountain View, MO; children: Joey, Shauna and Tyler all of Mountain View, MO; mother: Beatrice Spittler of Valley Bend, WV; two sisters: Nancy McGinn and husband Bob of Salem, WV and Goldie Barnes of Valley Bend; four brothers: Larry Spittler and wife Susie of Buckhannon,WV, Kenny Spittler of Virginia Beach,VA, Danny Spittler and wife Sharon of Millers, MD and Dennis Spittler of French Creek, WV. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday January 27, 2010 at Yarber Mortuary; 621 East 5th Street; Mountain View, MO. Visitation will also be held from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 30, 2010 at The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 100 Meadow Lane; Valley Bend, WV. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 30, 2010 at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jack Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickens Cemetery at Pickens, WV.
