Patricia Pratt White 1942-2019 Obituary
Patricia Pratt White, age 89, Saturday, August 21, surrounded by family, at The Pickering House, Lancaster. Patti was a longtime resident of the Buckeye Lake area.
She was a member at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and Bliss College, Columbus. She was also a member of AMVETS Post 51 and The Moose Lodge, Thornville. Patti was an Executive Secretary with North American/Rockwell International for 27 years. She had an amazingly quick wit. Patti so enjoyed being with her family, telling stories with her friends, boating, card games, Jeopardy, loved the OSU Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and, oh yes, the casino.
Survived by her loving children Rheta and Bobby Gallagher and her devoted grandson Sean Patrick Gallagher, Columbus.
Patti is also survived by special nieces Saundra Van Dyke, Nanette Downes Straub, Rhonda Ramey Carter, many other beloved nieces and nephews, sisters/brother-in-law and scores of good friends. Preceded in death by her husband and love of her life William (Bill) White; parents Robert E. and Rose Pratt; sisters Roseanne Finnerty, Mary Jane Harris, Dorothy Downes, Helen Van Dyke, Rita Jean Pratt and Connie Ferroni; brothers John, Robert, Gus, Bill, Tom and Joe Pratt. Funeral Mass on Thursday 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel – Buckeye Lake.
Burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Etna.
