Paul E. Davis 1934-2003 Obituary
Paul Edward Davis, 68, of Akron, Ohio, died Saturday morning, March 1, 2003, in his home.
He was born Sept. 8, 1934, in Whitmer, to the late Harry Durmit Davis and Hazel Virginia (Thompson) Davis.
Also preceding him in death were a sister, Willma Marie Kerns; and a brother, Jackie Davis.
He retired from Asplundh Tree Service in 1997 after 43 years service and was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Doris E. (White) Davis of the home; children, Donna Jean Veppert of Rootstown, Ohio, James E. Davis of Randolph, Ohio, and Ronald L. Davis of North Canton, Ohio; seven loving grandchildren; four sisters, Shelvia Arbogast, Rosalie Kerns, of Harman, Juanita Opphlie of Akron, Ohio, and Connie Lutz of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two brothers, Billy Davis of Tunnelton, and Lonnie Davis of Akron, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home, 5000 Everhard Rd. N.W., Canton, Ohio, with Pastor Paul Bloom officiating. Burial was in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends were received at the funeral home.
