OBITUARY: PAULINE A. CORLEY Pauline Alice Corley, 91, of 213 Railroad Avenue, Junior, died Saturday morning, July 24, in Mansfield Place, Philippi, following an extended illness. She was born October 6, 1918, at Gage, Barbour County, a daughter of the late William Clayton and Sarah (Triplett) Hutzler. On October 16, 1937, she was married to Woodrow Corley, who preceded her in death on March 7, 1997. Surviving are one son, Jerry Corley, Morgantown and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son, Danny Corley; by one daughter, Lyndel Corley; by five sisters, Effie Belle Cain, Margie Thorn, Wanema Hutzler, Laura Victoria Martinkus and Mary Halstead and by three brothers, Dempsey Clayton Hutzler, Denver Hutzler and Elmo Clayton Hutzler. Mrs. Corley was a homemaker and seamstress and was a former employee of Reidbord Brothers clothing manufacturers at Elkins. She was Protestant and was a former member of the Pythian Sisters at Junior. Friends may call from 1:00 until 5:30 P.M. and from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, at the Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington, where funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday. The Rev. Neil Parsons will officiate and private interment will follow in the Knights of Pythias Mountain View Cemetery at Junior. The Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
