Pauline Ball Shoulders, 74, of Morgantown, formerly of Wheeling, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Braxton County, a daughter of the late William and Iva Furby Ball.
She retired from West Liberty State College. She was a Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest S. Shoulders; and two sons, Donald and Ronald.
Surviving are one son, Donald Shoulders of Wheeling; two daughters, Virginia Swecker of Morgantown, and Charlotte Kolenc of Follansbee; one brother, the Rev. Rex Ball of Lynchburg, Va.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, and from 1 p.m. until time of services on Monday at Valley Head Methodist Church in Valley Head at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
