Peggy Ann Garner 1954-2021 Obituary
PEGGY ANN GARNER, 67 of Weirton, WV passed away Thursday October 7, 2021 in Salem, OH. She was born July 15, 1954 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Loyd and Regina Marie See Isner Garner.
Peggy attended the Weirton Heights Church of Christ and the Salem, OH Church of Christ. She was a 1972 graduate of Weir High School; Fairmont State with a bachelors degree in psychology and sociology; Virginia Commonwealth University with her masters degree. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cooking, hosting parties, and playing games. Peggy retired as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor after 25 years from the West Virginia Division of Rehabilitation Services. Her favorite day was October 31, 2012 … the day that she retired!
Surviving are her special friend, Jean Rawson of Weirton, WV; sisters, Yvonne Isner of New Manchester, WV, Rebecca Foster (John) of New Manchester, WV, Linda Venditti of Belington, WV, Ester Garner of Weirton, WV; five nephews, William Tennant, Larry Venditti, Shane Foster (Jen), Marco Venditti, Adam Ilosky; three nieces, Amber Sargent (Shawn), Ashley Dyeman (Andy), Jenna Ilosky; several great nieces/nephews.
Visitation will be Monday October 11, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral at 2:00 p.m. at the Weirton Heights Church of Christ, 3169 Pennsylvania Avenue, Weirton, WV with Evangelist Steve Smithbauer presiding. Additional visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until time of the funeral at 1:00 p.m. at the Randolph Funeral Home, 158 Meadow Lane, Valley Bend, WV with William Tennant presiding. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery, Huttonsville, WV.
As per Peggy’s request, no floral arrangements will be accepted. Only balloon arrangements will be accepted
