Ralph Edward Williams, 55, of Route 2, Box 16, Pickens, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, in Davis Memorial Hospital .

He was born July 2, 1948, in Silica, the son of the late James Williams and Eula Chidester Williams.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Russell and husband, Matt, of French Creek, Beth Brown and husband, Jeremy, of French Creek, and Lisa Williams of Buckhannon; five brothers, Gaylor Williams of French Creek, Robert Williams of Adrian, James Herbert Williams of Grafton, Paul Junior Williams of Alexander and Cecil Williams of French Creek; three sisters, Kathy Eskew of French Creek, JoAnn Casto of Tallmansville, and Ruby Williams of Grafton; three grandsons, Saban Wagner of Buckhannon, Ethan Russell of French Creek and Jeremy Brown II of French Creek; three granddaughters, Taylor Brown of French Creek, Dakota Russell of French Creek and Orryah Wagner of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Heath; and one half brother, Arden Nethken.

Mr. Williams was a bulldozer operator and a Methodist by faith

Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William C. Eskew Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Buckwheat Cemetery.
