Rella Jane Lower 1948-2022 Obituary
Rella Jane Lower, age 73, a resident of Huttonsville passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at home surrounded by her family and under the care of WV Caring. She was born on April 16, 1948 in Upshur County to the late Virgil and Cleo “Tibby” Scott. On Aug. 30, 1967 in Huttonsville, WV, she was married to Robert D. Lower, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2022. Also preceding her in death were brothers Melvin and Marvin and sisters Helen, Freda, Jean, Martha, Mary, and Marilyn, and granddaughter Kayla. Surviving are children: Kim and Leon of Mill Creek, Chrystal of Dailey, and Jason of Huttonsville; brothers Kelly, Charlie, and Mart all of Mill Creek and Deck of Valley Bend and sister Barb of Huttonsville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Timmy, Nikki, Megan, Charity, Lexxie, Ryan, and Abby and six great-grandchildren: Timmy Lee, Damien, Ellisyn, Waiyden, Camryn, and Aubrey. Friends may call from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday from the funeral home chapel with Rev. William “Wink” Lanham and Rev. Randy Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hemlock, WV. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Rella Jane Scott Lower.
