Richard Crossland Jr. 1982-2003 Obituary
Richard Henry Lee Crossland Jr., 20, of Thomas, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2003, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1982, in Alexandria, Va., the son of Richard Henry Lee Crossland Sr. of Thomas and Cynthia Kay Craven of Chester, Md.
Also surviving are his stepmother, Wanda Evans Crossland of Thomas; his stepfather, Jerry Cox of Chester, Md.; one brother, Kelly Wayne Crossland of Herndon, Va.; one sister, Dawn Gravelle of Davis; and three stepbrothers, Denzil Evans Jr. of Parsons, Kevin Evans of Horse Shoe Run and Ryan Evans of Thomas.
Mr. Crossland worked as a prep cook.
He enjoyed playing with his nephews and niece, listening to music, snowboarding and camping.
Friends will be received at the Hinkle Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Hinkle Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Cosner officiating.
Interment will follow in the Buena Cemetery in Canaan Valley.
