Richard Pierce 1928-2001 Obituary
Richard C. Pierce, 73, of Thomas, died Sept. 14, in Morgantown.
He was born March 28, 1928 in Morgantown, a son of the late Clinton and Margaret Steele Pierce. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Colman Pierce, Thomas, and one daughter, Cheryl A. Rogers of Cleveland, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Mr. Pierce was a retired machinist and a veteran of the US Army serving with the 503 airborne division.
Friends were received at thte Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis where services were helpd Sept. 17 with Rev. Allen Schwarz officiating. Interment follwed at Rose Hill Cemetery, Thomas.
