Robert Clay “Nick” Davidson age 76, of French Creek died at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 25, 2021. He was born on July 12, 1945, a son of the late Clay Davidson and he is survived by his mother Hazel Haymond Davidson. He was united in marriage on November 13, 1964, to Loretta Renay Phillips who survives. In addition to his mother and his wife he is survived by one daughter Lisa and husband Mark Severe of Buckhannon; one grandson Bryan and wife Amber Severe and two great grandchildren: Allen and Matthew Severe; two brothers: Jack and wife Sue Davidson of Rock Cave, Craig and wife Darcy Davidson of Sodus, NY; three sisters: Marilyn Davidson and husband Lindsey Hargrove of Pittsburgh, PA, Avis and husband Wade Franklin of West Milford and Patti and husband Tom Rhodes of Buckhannon; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Mr. Davidson was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and Trustee. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle in earlier years and also hunting.
Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 10-11 AM the funeral hour with Pastor John Burns officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Ridge Cemetery.
