Roy Jones, age 83, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. He was born June 3, 1929 in Russellville, WV, a son of the late Clyde Alexander and Laura Edith Wright Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John H. and Clyde Jones; one half-brother, Robert Toney and one half-sister, Bernice Osborne. He is survived by one brother, James L. Jones of Buckhannon. Mr. Jones was a Lumberman. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Bethel Cemetery in Corlis, WV. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
