Ruth Ramsey Hicks, 90, of Loris, SC, formerly of Mill Creek, WV entered into eternal rest Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Loris Extended Care Facility in Loris, SC following a extended illness. She was born Friday July 2, 1920 in Mill Creek, WV, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Elmira Currence Ramsey. Ruth was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a lovely lady who truly enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren very much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Steven Hicks and seven brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memories are one daughter: Betty Hall of Conway, SC; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Thursday December 23, 2010 at The Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday December 23, 2010 at the Jerusalem Cemetery on the Adolph Road in Mill Creek, WV with Pastor Ann Fretwell officiating.
