Ruth Virginia Biller Talbott, 81, a resident of 209 Maple St. in Belington, departed this life at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2003, at her home. She had been in failing health for quite some time.

She was born March 28, 1922, in Barbour County, the daughter of the late Coleman and Nora Cross Biller.

She was formerly married to Earl Bradford “Bant” Talbott, who survives at the Barbour County Good Samaritan Center in Belington.

Surviving are three sons, June Biller and wife, Sandy, Tommy Talbott and wife, Betty, and Bobbie Corbin, all of Belington; one sister, Ann Lee Scott of Fairmont; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Fannie Vaughn, Bessie Bernard, Grace Streets, Ester Canfield, Dolly Booth, Peggy Biller and Ettie Archibald; and four brothers, Camden Biller, Wilson Biller, Leslie Ray Biller and Holt Biller.

Ms. Talbott attended the schools of Barbour County, was a homemaker and was a member of the Talbott United Methodist Church.

Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and on Tuesday until 11 a.m., the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home parlor with the Rev. Doyle N. Rider officiating. Interment will follow in the Lambert Chapel Cemetery near Belington. The family asks that in lieu of flowers for memorial contributions be made to the Barbour County Senior Citizens in Philippi or Hospice Care Inc. in Elkins. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Ruth Virginia Biller Talbott. From 21 and 22 Apr 2003.
