TERRENCE R. WATSON JR. Terrence Roemer “Terry” Watson Jr., 45, of Rt. #1, Belington, was pronounced dead early Saturday morning at the Broaddus Hospital, following a sudden and unexpected illness. He was born November 18, 1964, at Cheverly, Md., a son of Gloria Jean (Richardson) Watson who survives at Elkins and the late Terrence Roemer Watson. On December 7, 2002, he married the former Jennifer Nicole Phillips, who survives at their home at Belington. Also surviving are three daughters, Angel Watson, Amber Watson and Katie Watson, all of Belington; three sisters, Dora Mae Pierce, Derwood, Md., Teresa Wollmann and husband, Ron, Frostburg, Md., Gloria Boatman and husband, Forrest, Watertown, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Watson was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was currently employed as a Correctional Officer by the W. Va. Department of Corrections at the Huttonsville Correctional Center. He was a member of the Calvary Southern Baptist Church at Belington and the Fraternal Order of Police. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 6, from the Schoonover – Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington. The Rev. Jesse Mesa will officiate and interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery at Huttonsville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Monday and from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M., the funeral hour, on Tuesday.
