Thelma Margarett Bradley, 86, of 301 Centre Ave., Belington, died Monday, March 31, 2003, at her home following an extended illness.

She was born March 11, 1917, at Elkwater, Randolph County, a daughter of the late Galford and Florence Snyder Louk.

On June 3, 1937, she was married to Odgar Ernest Bradley, who preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1982.

Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Barnes and husband, Sonny, Niles, Ohio, and Dianna Reed and husband, Marshall, Belington; four sons, David Bradley and wife, Susie, Belington, Robert Bradley and wife, Carol, Hanover, Pa., Ernest Bradley and wife, Carol, Windham, Ohio, and Ralford Bradley and wife, Sharon, Ravenna, Ohio; two brothers, Howard Louk and wife, Creta, Belington, and Dale Louk, Ridgeley; 24 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Leah Hamilton and Dora Schoonover; six brothers, Arden Louk, Carl Louk, Burl Louk, Don Louk, Ralph Louk and Samuel Louk; and two grandchildren, Timothy Barnes and Timperance Alth.

Mrs. Bradley was a homemaker.

She enjoyed traveling, fishing and being with her family.

Friends may call at Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel in Belington from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday when funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Arden Beck officiating.

Interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery.

The Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
