Titus Ray Shiflett, 82, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019

Titus was born in Middle Fork, West Virginia just outside of Mill Creek on July 29, 1936 to Ray and Mary (Scott) Shiflett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He met the love of his life, Dolores, at the “basket factory” where he drove truck. Next, Titus worked at Polson Rubber Co. for 25 years before going to General Electric where he ultimately retired. In retirement, he enjoyed driving semi-truck for Ravenna Repair Services, working tirelessly on the farm and helping anyone with a do-it-yourself project. Titus was a very hard worker all of his life; work was his hobby. He was a long-time member of Calvary Free Will Baptist Church.

Titus is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dolores (Kimmel) Shiflett and his daughter Wanda (Jim) Staab. He also leaves his grandchildren: James C. (Barbara) Staab II and Brandon Staab. He cherished his time with his family and loved them well! He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings. He has one surviving sister, Cheryl Shiflett.

Funeral services are being held on February 22, 2019 beginning at 11am at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. He will be laid to rest at Grandview Memorial Park.
