Trecia Everson Chidester 1946-2021 Obituary
Trecia Everson Chidester, 74, of Buckhannon died Tuesday at her home.
She was born Oct. 14, 1946, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Sherwood “Jim” and Dessie Sothen Everson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Darwin Everson.
She is survived by one daughter, Patty Mackey and husband, Steve, of Buckhannon; one son, James “Junior” Sheets of Buckhannon; one grandson, Dameon Michael Sheets and wife, Cassandra, of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Brittany Mackey of Buckhannon; one great-grandson, Chase Allen Sheets of Buckhannon; one great-granddaughter, Alisa Marie Sheets of Buckhannon; two sisters, Kathern Minix and Rosemary Jackson, both of Buckhannon; two brothers, John Everson and wife, Helen, and Joe Everson and wife, Kenna, all of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Jack McDaniels and Walter Glenn Carr, both of Buckhannon.
Ms. Chidester was a seamstress and a custodian for the school system and a member of the River Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, cooking and gardening.
Friends will be received Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Albert Farley officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery in Upshur County.
