Tyler Neil George, age 31 years, a resident of Elkins, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh, PA due to a tragic accident.

Tyler was born November 30, 1990 to Lisa Stalnaker (companion Adam Martin) of Elkins and Brian N. George and wife Erica of Martinsburg, WV.

He was married to Theresa A. (Howell) George on June 28, 2012 who survives.

Also surviving are the “loves of his life” daughter, Tessa Jade George and son, Tripp Neil George.

Tyler was an amazing father that loved his children dearly.

Also left to cherish his memory are brothers, Nathan Haines and wife Jennifer of Pittsburgh, PA, Logan and Garrett Stalnaker of Philippi, WV, Brin George of Martinsburg, WV and Ashen Philips of Martinsburg, WV. His maternal grandmother Janice Haines of Elkins, paternal grandparents Judy & Doug Boyers of Weyers Cave, VA and Charles George of Norton; aunts and uncles, Julie and Charlie George of Elkins, Danielle and David Mace of Pocahontas County, and Kirk Arbogast of Elkins; nieces and nephews, Ellie Haines, Elena and Annabelle mace and Roman Lawrence; cousins, Charlie Rayann George and Jullian George of Elkins, Isaac Mace of Pocahontas County, Michaela Mace of Pocahontas County, Kayla and Tiffany Arbogast of Virginia, Heaven, Jeremiah and Kelsey Arbogast of Oklahoma also survive.

Preceding him in death was his maternal grandfather, Bill Haines.

Tyler graduated from Elkins High School with the Class of 2009.

He enjoyed playing football and basketball.

He was also a graduate of WyoTech Automotive Technology School with certification in small engine repair.

Tyler had a “Heart of Gold” and helped anyone in need.

He was very creative and could fix anything.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and had a passion for repairing and riding ATV’s with his kids. Services for Tyler will be private.

The family request in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Rivers of Living Waters Ministries, 2 Lincoln Ave., Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Tyler.
