On Saturday, June 12, 1965, she married the love of her life, Ray Canfield who survives. Also surviving are four children, Helen Marie Canfield Howell, Ray Lee Canfield and wife Donna, Steven Clay Canfield and Jeffrey Wayne Canfield and wife Samantha, all of Beverly, WV; four grandchildren, Helen Ashley White and husband Ryan, Gregory Nicholas (Nick) Hinchman, Alyssa Jade Howell and Daisy Marie Canfield; four great grandchildren, Helen Emilee Hazel White, Parker Ryan White, Natalee Kay White, and Ava Mae Hinchman. She loved horses and often spoke of a horse named Tom, who she enjoyed helping her dad take care of as a child. After the evening chores were done she enjoyed sitting on the front porch steps outside or underneath her weeping willow tree that her and her brother Albert planted. She was an extraordinary cook, canned all summer for winter, crocheted, sewed, etc. She loved being a homemaker, wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, and being a member of Mercy Chapel Church in Montrose, WV. She was loved by countless people and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 2 Timothy 4:7.
