Vera M. Anderson 1921-2003 Obituary
Vera Madge Anderson, 81, of Rock Cave, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at the home of her daughter.
She was born Dec. 28, 1921, in Webster County, the daughter of the late Alex Cutlip and Dona Carpenter Cutlip.
She was united in marriage on Sept. 14, 1941, to Ferry S. Anderson who preceded her in death on May 18, 2001.
She is survived by three daughters, Rita Huffman of Buckhannon, Donna Dae Burnside of Rock Cave and Mary Kay Russell of Buckhannon; two sons, Larry S. Anderson of Buckhannon and Harry Keith Anderson of Rock Cave; three brothers, Don Cutlip of Little Rock, Ark., Harry Cutlip of Shiloh, Ohio, and Cal Cutlip of Ohio; one sister, Jetta Alderman of Cleveland, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
She attended Canaan Community Church.
Friends were received from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel in Tennerton. Funeral services will be today at the Salem United Methodist Church, where she will lie in state from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., the funeral hour.
The Rev. Junior Harris will officiate and interment will follow in the Salem Ridge Cemetery.
