Verna McCauley Cogar 1934-2020 Obituary
Verna McCauley Cogar, 85, daughter of the late Marion and Ada Wiseman McCauley passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the interment following at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the funeral home from 6 until 8:00pm.
She is survived by her sons, James Cogar of Freemont, Emory Cogar, Jr. of Lucama, Steven Cogar of Clayton and Allen Cogar of Fairless Hill, PA; daughters, Lorraine Ratliff of Kenly, Elaine Cogar of Barnegatt, NJ, Theresa Camden of Longs, SC; sisters, Virginia Martin of Mill Creek, WV and Wanda Wyman of Youngstown, OH; brothers, Emory Wiseman of South Haven, MI and Homor Wiseman of Elkins, WV; 31 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Emory Cogar and a daughter, Debra Cogar.
