Victoria Louk, 73, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. She had been in declining health for several years, but was doing well and death was unexpected. She was born Saturday, November 26, 1938 in Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Minnie Mae Louk. Victoria is survived by one son, Robert Golden Louk and wife, Carolyn, of Nitro, three daughters, Rebecca Sue Brewer and companion, Christopher Arbaugh of Mill Creek, Rhonda Walls and husband, Jerry, of Inwood, and Reginia Agee and husband, Dean, of Havlock, NC, one brother, Otis Louk of Huttonsville, five sisters, Goldie Belle Day of Lawrence, KS, Francis Blankenship of Huttonsville, Barbara Wegman of Valley Bend, Emily Martin of Mill Creek, and Sandra Hoover of Huttonsville, twelve grandchildren, Amber C. Carlson of Chicago, IL, Jamie Barb of Mill Creek, Sylvia Barb of California, Audrey Carter of Mill Creek, Marylynn Johnson of Harpers Ferry, Victoria Anne Walls and Logan Talbot Walls, both of Inwood, Christopher Agee of Wilmington, NC, Chrystal McGinnis of Stella, NC, Charles Petrice of Stafford, VA, Michael Petrice of Greenwell, SC, and Sharon Nelson of Orlando, FL, many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Victoria was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Lou Castleberry and Glena Elaine Louk, and one granddaughter, Victoria Jean Petrice. Victoria attended the schools of Randolph County, had worked at Beta Shoe Company, and was a homemaker. She had volunteered at Tyrand Cooperative Ministries at Mill Creek for many years. She enjoyed hunting with her daughter, Becky, growing flowers, quilting, and reading the Bible. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Victoria’s request for cremation will be honored. A memorial service will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 where friends may call from 10AM until 11AM, the funeral hour.
