Willa Fern “Pat” Shoulders Hamrick 1943-2021 Obituary
Willa Fern “Pat” Shoulders Hamrick, 77, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center.
Pat was born Sunday, October 23, 1943, in Monterville, a daughter of the late Gennis Gay Shoulders and Edith Marie Cool. On January 14, 1966, in Elkins, she married Sergeant First Class, Arnold Dold Hamrick, USA, Retired who preceded her in death in 2019.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Matthew Arnold Hamrick of Elkins and Douglas Kirk Hamrick and fiancé Christa Holthouser of Louisville, KY, four grandchildren, Lee Anthony Wade, Sammi Marie Hamrick, Andrew Michael Hamrick, and McKenna Breeann Hamrick, two great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Mason Wade, two sisters, Phyllis Byrd and Nancy Dawson, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were several siblings.
Pat was a graduate of Tygarts Valley High School and had been employed for thirty-three years as a registered nurse in Orthopedic nursing. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, and crocheting.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, from 5pm until 7pm. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 11:00 am. Pastor Bryan Headley will officiate and interment will follow in American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery in Cravensdale.
