William Arthur Krebs 1941-2002 Obituary

William Arthur Krebs, 60, a resident of Monterville, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at his home.

He was born April 11, 1941, at Westminster, Md., a son of the late Heindel Snyder and Hilda Barber Krebs.

He was married to Tolly Worthington Peuleche, who survives at Monterville.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kimberly Zaranski of Finksburg, Md., and Andrea Abend of New Windsor, Md.; two brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren.

Mr. Krebs was retired from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, where he was the director of Maryland Program Open Space.

At the request of the deceased, his remains will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Grace Lutheran Church at Westminster, Md. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions may be made to The Conservation Fund, 1800 N. Kent St., Suite 1120, Arlington, Va. 22209 in memory of Mr. Krebs. Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements.
