William Thomas “Bill” Hull, 78, a resident of the St. George Community, passed from this life Wednesday morning, October 24, 2012 at his home. He had been in declining health, but death was unexpected. Bill was born March 13, 1934 at Terra Alta, a son of the late Arlie Okey Hull and Vivian Evelyn Marie Cupp Hull. He graduated from Terra Alta High School with the class of 1952, and he had served with the United States Air Force. He had worked as an equipment operator, a mechanic, and a foreman for the Grafton Coal Company for over forty years having retired in 2007. He had served as a volunteer with the Parsons EMS for five years. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle, and being with his family. Bill is survived by two sons, David L. Hull of St. George, Johnny Hull and wife, Tammy, of Terra Alta, one daughter, Donna Braham and husband, Mark, of Preston County, seven grandchildren, Danette, Johnny, Jeff, Lori, Jessica, Toby, and Brianna, thirteen great grandchildren, Terrence, Johnna, Anabelle, Landon, Reece, Jayla, Peyton, Dane, Sheldon, Landon, Kayden, Gavin and Derek, two nephews, Ray Sines and Robert Sines, one niece, Evelyn Stout and husband, Warren, a great niece, Jennifer Duckworth and husband, Jeff, two great nephews, Steven Poling and Eric Poling, three great great nieces, Hailee, Chloe, and Macie, and one great great nephew, Kaden. Preceding Bill in death were two sisters, Mary Ellen Sines and Nina Jane Hull. Bill request for cremation was honored. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The Summerfield Funeral Home of Parsons has been entrusted with the arrangements for William Thomas “Bill” Hull.
