William “Bill” Vincent, 63, of Route 3, Box 165-D, Buckhannon, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

He was born Aug. 4, 1940, in Pickens, the son of the late William L. Vincent and Eilene Wasmer Vincent.

On March 17, 1961, he married Judy A. Griffith Vincent, who survives.

Surviving are one son, Tim Vincent and wife, Diana, of Buckhannon; two daughters, Becky Smith and husband, Craig, of French Creek, and Carmen Lee and husband, Jimbo, of Buckhannon; two sisters, Sue Dean of Texas and Judy Shaver of Clarksburg; two brothers, Donald “Skip” Vincent of Mt. Nebo and Gregory “Buddy” Vincent of Vienna; one grandson, Todd Lee of Buckhannon; five granddaughters, Casey Vincent, Holly Vincent, and Tasha Lee, all of Buckhannon, and Erica Smith and Jessica Smith, both of French Creek; several nieces and nephews; and special children, Lexi and Ashley.

He was a heavy equipment operator and was a Protestant by faith.

Friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home where funeral services will be at 2 p.m Friday. The Rev. William C. Eskew Jr. and the Rev. Roy Cogar will officiate and interment will follow in the Pickens Cemetery. From 23 Oct 2003.
