Worth Jasper Armentrout, 63, of the Job area, died Oct. 4, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He had been in declining health and death was attributed to complications from diabetes.

He was born Aug. 3, 1938, at Elkins, a son of the late Jasper and Sally Mauzy Armentrout.

Surviving are a stepson, Tom Teter, Job; one stepdaughter, Margaret (and Rupert “Squirt”) Adamson, Job; seven step grandchildren, Patrick, matt and Amanda Adamson, Jeff (and Tracy) Teter, Rebecca (and Jeff) Propst, Jill (and Robert) Taylor and Tonya (and John), Lewis, several cousins, aunts and uncles.

He attended the schools of Harman, was a farmer and a member of the Cattleman’s Association.

Friends were received at the Lohr-Barb-Vance Funeral Home where final rites were conducted Oct. 8. The Reverends Eli Hostetler, Joe Mininger and Earl Bible officiated and graveside services followed at the Armentrout-Mullenax Cemetery near Job. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association, Inc., PO Box 1115, Dunbar, WV 25064 or to the charity of your choice.
