Worth Jasper Armentrout, age 63 years, a well-known farmer of the Job area and a resident of Job, departed this life Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.

He had been in declining health and death was attributed to complications from diabetes.

Mr. Armentrout was born August 3, 1938, at Elkins, a son of the late Jasper Armentrout and Sally Mauzy Armentrout.

He attended the schools of Harman. He was a farmer and a member of the Cattleman’s Association.

His life companion, Josie Katherine Mullennex, preceded him in death, Nov. 12, 1996.

Surviving are one step-son, Tom Teter, Job; one step-daughter, Margaret Adamson, and her husband, Rupert “Squirt” Adamson, Job; seven step-grandchildren, Patrick, Matt and Amanda Adamson, Jeff Teter and wife, Tracy, Rebecca Propst and husband, Jeff, Jill Taylor and husband, Robert, and Tonya Lewis and husband, John; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Final rites were conducted at the Lohr-Basrb-Vance Funeral Home in Elkins, with the Revs. Eli Hostetler, Joe Mininger and Earl Bible officiating.

Graveside services followed at the Armentrout-Mullennex Cemetery near Job.
