Zenith – Model 6G501F Chassis 6A19 Portable Receiver Schematic Alignment Data Parts List – Zenith 1941
I just purchased a 6G501, its complete and needs restored, I’ve added it to my long list of radios to restore
This radio is almost identical to the 5G500, which I also have on my restore list
The 6G501 uses the same chassis, 6A19, as the 6G505 and was introduced in 1941 and was AM only, and had the same basic tube lineup and power option as a lot of Zenith Radio made before 1942 and a few made after WWII ended – Zenith switched to mini all glass tube in 1949
